The Bible
The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, trustworthy and authoritative Word of God, our final guide for belief and life.
The faith we share
The good news of Jesus, grounded in Scripture and lived out together.
The gospel
God made us to know Him. In Jesus, He has opened the way home.
Every person is made in God's image, with dignity and worth. Yet we have all turned from Him, and sin has broken our relationship with God.
Jesus Christ, God's Son, lived without sin, died for us and rose again. Forgiveness and new life are His gift, received by turning to Him and trusting Him, not earned by our achievements.
We want to help people understand this good news and learn what it means to follow Jesus.
Talk with us about faithChristian convictions
The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, trustworthy and authoritative Word of God, our final guide for belief and life.
There is one true God, eternally Father, Son and Holy Spirit, perfect in love, holiness and power.
Jesus is fully God and fully human: born of a virgin, sinless, crucified for our sin, raised bodily from the dead, ascended and coming again.
Every person is made in God's image. All have sinned and fall short of His glory; we cannot save ourselves.
Salvation is God's gift, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Those who trust Him are born again.
The Spirit gives new birth, lives in every believer, produces His fruit in us and equips the church for worship, holiness and witness.
The Church is the body of Christ. As a local family of believers we gather to worship, grow, care for one another and share Jesus.
We practise believer's baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper, the two ordinances Jesus gave His church.
Jesus will return in glory. There will be resurrection and judgement, and God will make all things new.
Jesus sends His people to make disciples, baptising and teaching, sharing His love in word and deed.
Baptist convictions
We value personal faith in Jesus, believer's baptism, the authority of Scripture and the freedom of each person to respond to God without coercion.
Every believer can approach God through Christ and take part in His mission. As a local congregation, we seek Christ's direction together, led and served by our pastor.
Life in the Spirit
We depend on the Holy Spirit for the life and strength of our church. We welcome His gifts, tested by Scripture and exercised in order and love, to build up others.
We pursue the Spirit's fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
